About the Client
The client has an advanced online mobile app for students of Class X Maths and Science catering to the CBSE board and also the Karnataka state board.

A large part of the signups was coming through paid campaigns and offline events. The objective was to increase awareness, generate more downloads, signups and finally purchases. We worked extensively on the SEO front for the website to increase awareness and accordingly get more downloads.

Achievements

  • 3x increase in no of keywords ranked from 200 to 100 within a span of eight months

Significant improvement in keyword ranking in top 10. from 19 keywords in top 10 to 200 keywords in top 10 in less than 1 year.

    • 13x increase in organic traffic i.e. from 300 organic visitors to 4k  organic visitors monthly.

Caveats

  • The impact of SEO depends on competition. In a highly online competitive industry like this, it takes atleast three months before we start seeing the impact of the SEO work
  • In this case for the keyword CBSE we still rank lower. However for the keyword related to Karnataka State Syllabus Science and Maths, the website ranks in the top 5 for most keywords.
  • In less competitive industries, the impact can be seen within three weeks.
