Business Development Manager – Sales (3 years experience)

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Manager with a minimum of three years of experience in sales to join our team. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading the sales efforts, driving revenue growth, and expanding our customer base. This role requires strong leadership skills, a proven track record of sales success, and the ability to develop and execute strategic business development plans.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to develop targeted sales strategies and value propositions.
  2. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and business development plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  3. Lead the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve individual and team sales objectives.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  5. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and areas of growth and differentiation.
  6. Drive the sales process from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and deal closure, maintaining a high level of customer engagement throughout the sales cycle.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales strategies with company goals and objectives.
  8. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our products/services.
  9. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and market trends to provide regular reports and insights to the management team.
  10. Stay updated with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices in sales and business development, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  2. Minimum of three years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  3. Experience in a business development or sales leadership role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team to achieve outstanding results.
  5. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  6. Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  7. Proven experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies and business development plans.
  8. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, analyze market trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  9. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track sales activities.
  10. Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
