Telegram Ads Cabinets in Euros and TON: Targeting Options and Availability

⚠️ Important: You cannot combine both targeting methods in a single campaign. 

Targeting Options in Euro Accounts 

  • Geotargeting – Choose users based on country or city. Currently, ads can be targeted to Russia and Uzbekistan. 
  • Language – Display ads only to users who have a certain app language selected (e.g., Russian speakers with Russian set in Telegram). 
  • Topics & Interests – Target based on major public channels users are subscribed to (sports, tech, fashion, etc.). 
  • Channel Audience – Reach subscribers of specific channels across their entire subscription base. 
  • Device Types – Segment ads for iOS, Android, Desktop, or Mobile. 
  • Exclusions – Exclude users by interest, block certain channels, or avoid sensitive categories like politics. 
  • Channel Language & Theme – Focus on channels with specific publishing languages or themes. 
  • Target Channels – Add up to 100 specific channels by username (without @ or links). 

This flexibility makes the Euro cabinet well-suited for advertisers aiming to run localized, interest-based campaigns. 

 TON Advertising Cabinet 

The TON cabinet works differently. Here, you can only target specific Telegram channels directly. However, it comes with some unique advantages: 

  • Ads can run in any language (including Kazakh, English, etc.). 
  • Channels with 1,000+ subscribers can be added manually. 
  • Telegram will also suggest channels with similar themes. 
  • You cannot edit channel lists once a campaign is active (copy campaigns to adjust). 
  • Campaign statistics are shown as a whole, not per channel. 
  • ✅ If you want per-channel stats, create a separate campaign for each.

  • Put large channels in separate campaigns for better budget control. 
  • Group smaller channels together. 
  • Budgets can be reallocated mid-campaign if results are weak.
