Digital Marketing Spend During Telangana Elections

Electioneering leverages the most advanced marketing tools to drive awareness and Telangana Election is nothing less.

Although the traditional media channels like Print, TV, Radio, Leaflets, Vans, Hoardings have been leveraged extensively by each of the political parties, this is probably the first time the amount of spend through organised digital channels like Google Ads, Youtube and Facebook has gone up significantly.

According to Siasat.com – over the last three months alone, parties in Telangana have spent Rs 20.76 crore on Google ads and Rs 4.12 crore on Meta. This info will also be publicly available in the Google and Facebook transparency report.

BRS has been the biggest spender till date during this elections. Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) started its digital ad campaign on November 1, showing around 1,493 targeted ads by spending 10.69 crores in 26 days, more than any other political party.
